Problem talk creates problems and solution talk creates Solutions (Steve de Shazer). Why creating problems when there is solutions talk that creates solutions. The human mind is an absolute problem expert and problem details will activate many problem experts. It would be better to use excellent ideas for solution talk with the resource process.
As entrepreneurs, we dispense with problem talk altogether and work very successfully with the resource process in our transformation projects. This requires Leadership by Decision-Making Management (DMM), so that first there is a joint open view of all, anonymously, without anchor effects. That is enough problem talk for experts. If you don’t have a joint problem view, you should be looking at what else is hidden behind the problem.
Only then it is worthwhile to use everyone’s resources to find what it would take to make things better. For one-on-one conversations as well as for teams of any size.
