Digitized DecisionMaking for all types of decisions
With the KiE-DecisionMaker, people, teams or groups of any size as well as machines with AI, i.e. all with all, can make simple, complicated and complex decisions. Today, messenger services such as WhatsApp and e-mail or social media such as Facebook and Twitter are used to communicate or in tactical maneuvering. The next developmental step will be that in a global digitalized world, people will want to bring decisions to their groups. DecisionMaking will be at the heart of this transformation.
DecisionMaking is missing in Collaboration Tools
The common collaboration tools like Trello, Jira or Slack allow standard functions such as communication, backlog, content and collaboration. However, the countless collaboration tools lack DecisionMaking as the core of any communication and interaction, remote or in person. These tools are built in such a way that only one person can speak at a time, otherwise no one will be understood.
This restriction is solved by the KiE-DecisionMaker and everyone can speak at the same time. With our digitized DecisionMaking, everyone can have their say at the same time. We have supplemented the feature missing in all common collaboration tools with the KiE-DecisionMaker to bring about secure and timely decisions with 100% participation. Opinions, ratings and other assessments can be collected by survey before the interaction and integrated into the meeting. Suitable response types are provided for the various topics.
Everyone can have their say at the same time and all results immediately become available online. At the end of the decision-making process, a download is released which makes the entire process openly available to everyone. The time-consuming preparation of result protocols is completely eliminated.
Target of the KiE-DecisionMaker
The KiE-DecisionMaker is a cloud service that is made available to all target groups. The bandwidth ranges from simple to complex decisions of almost any kind:
1. simple decisions are ratings, votings or surveys
2. complicated decisions are participatory and jointly supported decisions
3. complex decisions are prioritizations and commitments in a global environment
Minimally valuable product
The DecisionMaker’s MVP represents the core of every decision: the rating. It precedes every decision and is used repeatedly for cognitive and intuitive decisions as well as for decision-making processes.
The shortcomings of making decisions together in traditional meetings, agile ceremonies, politics and society have become obvious and will be intensified in digital cooperation. Companies now have to organize their work in digitized collaboration.
Group dynamics as well as social and cognitive biases are now becoming obvious and being reinforced in video conferences by collaboration tools. The situation calls for digitized DecisionMaking and DecisionMaking processes in which everyone can have their say at the same time and jointly supported decisions can be brought about safely and promptly.

The KiE-DecisionMaker is available as MVP for free use.
Roles in KiE-DecisionMaker
There are two roles in the KiE-DecisionMaker:
1. Master of KiE DecisionMaking (MoDM) – leads the DecisionMaking process
2. Participant – takes part and gives his ratings
The Master of KiE-DecisionMaking can manage and execute DecisionMaking processes (DM-P). The MoD must authorize himself by e-mail and password. A DecisionMaking ID is created for each DecisionMaking process (DM-Id).
The participant takes part in DecisionMaking processes. To participate, only the DecisionMaking ID (DM-Id) is required, which is communicated to him or her by MoD.
No personal data is recorded or stored, except for the e-mail from the Master of DecisionMaking for the sign-in. The participants are anonymous, and no authentication or identification is required.
Rating
The KiE Scale, designed specifically for cognitive, intuitive and conscious decision-making, is available for all forms of ratings. It is composed of three components:
1. Leading question
2. Scale type
3. Scope of meaning
DecisionMaking-Prozess
DecisionMaking processes (DM-P) are structured into several ratings, which are performed using a KiE scale. The Master of DecisionMaking creates a DecisionMaking Identification (DM-Id) with which the participants register for participation in a DM process. The Master of DecisionMaking gives the DM-Id to the participants on a channel of his choice.
Within a DecisionMaking-Id. the individual ratings are assigned a Rating Id. (R-Id.). The MoD creates DM processes and can open or delete them.
Free DecisionMaking Process
The Master of DecisionMaking loads the KiE scales of his choice into the DecisionMaker. He can then offer the KiE scale to the participants in any order and repetition.
Example of a commitment process:
Surveys with DecisionMaking process
The Master of DecisionMaker can create surveys with any KiE scale. The associated DecisionMaking process remains open until the MoD closes it. After that, the result is available to everyone under the DM-Id.
KiE-Scales input
KiE scales can be freely designed in the DecisionMaker to flexibly rating in every interaction with all participants. After entering the leading question (1), the KiE scale type (2) can be selected. Depending on the KiE scale type, the input fields for the areas of meaning are offered.
KiE-Scales upload
A sub-set of KiE scales is supplied for the MVP. Individual KiE-Scales can be created by MoDs with an upload from Excel.
